The Institute of Legal Informatics will have its own stand at Saarland University’s Open Day which will take place on 24th June 2017. We will be presenting various projects including GesetzMobil" (legislation on-the-go) and a project relating to data security in automated houses.

Through its "GesetzMobil", the Institute offers everyone the opportunity to have constant access to a comprehensive legislation library. A "Gesetzes-Tankstelle" (a legislation filling station) at our information stand will assist visitors in installing the legislation on their mobile phones, tablets or eReaders.  Visitors can use an interactive monitor to see for themselves how secure an electronic door lock really is.

Whether it is self-driving cars or intelligent fridges – the Institute combines knowledge from the fields of IT-Law and Computer Science in order to research all aspects of life online and with robots.

You will find us from 11-16 h in the ground floor foyer of Building C3 1. An interactive map of Saarland University can be found here.
