Whether as extra-occupational qualification or additional qualification alongside your studies: the certificate programme will provide you with in-depth knowledge of digital society's most relevant legal questions and fundamental technical principles. The certificate is aimed at students of all faculties at Saarland University as well as external applicants. The courses will mainly be held online. Registration is open until March 31!

The certificate program "IT Law and Legal Informatics" has an interdisciplinary focus and is designed as a two-semester programme. In the area of IT-law, relevant in-depth knowledge in contract and data protection law, as well as technical fundamentals of the Internet,  IT-security and eJustice will be covered, all of which are essessential in forming a deeper understanding of the fundamental principales of It-Law. No prior technical knowledge is required as all content is conveyed in a comprehensible manner.
